For nearly a decade, Driver & Butler has redefined what it means to travel with style, combining flawless punctuality, genuine culture and the quiet elegance of French savoir-faire.

Our Story

Driver & Butler was founded in 2017 in Nantes, in the heart of the Loire-Atlantique region. Born from a simple conviction, that a journey should never be just a transfer, we set out to build a chauffeur service that treats every passenger as a guest, every route as an experience.

What started with a small fleet between Nantes Atlantique Airport and the city centre has grown into a comprehensive premium service covering airports, train stations and private residences across France and neighbouring European countries.

Nine years on, the original philosophy remains unchanged: the car is a space for thought, for rest, for conversation. Our role is to make it as pleasant, safe and memorable as possible.

What Drives Everything We Do

Punctuality

We monitor flights, anticipate delays and adapt in real time. Your driver is always there before you need him.

Discretion

What happens in the car stays in the car. Your privacy is absolute, no data sold, no profiling, no exceptions.

Elegance

Immaculate vehicles, pressed uniforms, measured conversation. Every detail reflects the standard our clients expect.

Human Connection

Our drivers are selected not only for their licence but for their character. They speak when you want to speak, and stay quiet when you don’t.

Fixed Pricing

No dynamic pricing, no hidden fees: the price is fixed and known in advance. Fixed supplements (night, weekend, public holiday, airport/station) are shown in the quote; any toll appears on a separate line, at actual cost.

Real-Time Tracking

Live flight monitoring, automatic adjustment for delays and a live tracking link shared with your contact, because peace of mind is part of the service.
